Now Accepting Applications for Service Department Director

Butler Township, Montgomery County Ohio, a township of approximately 8,000 residents and 43 miles of township roadways is seeking to fill the position Service Department Director.

This position performs complex supervisory, administrative and professional work in planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the Service Department. Areas of responsibility include infrastructure, roads, traffic control, inspections, cemetery operation, building and ground maintenance, and other township projects and programs as assigned.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in civil engineering, construction management or related field, from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a public works/street department, or construction field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Candidates must demonstrate a minimum two years of administrative/supervisory responsibility.

Salary will range between $75,000 to $95,000, depending upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical, dental and life insurance; paid vacation, holidays, and sick time; and enrollment in Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
