Township’s New Police Chief Named
July 29, 2011
Captain Carl Bush was announced as the successor to Chief of Police Danny Hobbs, who will be retiring as of September 1st. “I consider it an honor to be selected by the trustees to fill that position,” Bush said. Bush stated that, while he believes he is ready to assume the duties of Chief, his predecessor has raised the bar for all those stepping into the position. Bush’s confidence is well-founded. Even a cursory perusal of his resume will affirm the soundness of the trustees’ selection.
“Truly, I look forward to serving the township.” Bush said “There’s some challenging times coming, but I’m sure we’ll get through it and do the best job we can for the residents and visitors to Butler Township. We’ll keep it safe and serve it the best we can. We’ll keep the level of service up and maintain the commitment of our officers to the community. The way it has been in the past is the way it will continue in the future.”
