Staff & Elected Officials

Three trustees, each elected at-large to a four-year term, govern the township. A clerk is also elected to a four-year term to serve as fiscal officer and maintain the township’s records, including the proceedings of all board of trustee meetings and financial accounts. In Butler Township, there is also an administrator who is appointed by the trustees to manage the township’s day-to-day activities and work to accomplish the goals established by the elected officials. Township Meetings

The Butler Township trustees meet regularly to conduct the township government’s official business. Regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 7 p.m., while workshop sessions are held on the last Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. Citizens are welcome to attend the meetings.
