Star Spangled Celebration – Butler Township and the City of Vandalia will again co-sponsor fireworks as part of the 4th of July Celebration at the Vandalia Recreation Center. The event, scheduled for July 3rd and is open to the community. Come and enjoy a great fireworks display!

National Night Out – The Stonespring Rehabilitation Center, located at 4000 Singing Hills Blvd. in Butler Township, will again sponsor and host the township’s National Night Out this year. This event is a nationwide campaign to help build relations between the police and their communities. Emergency vehicles will be on display and kids’ activities will include bounce houses, face painting, games and pony rides. Township officials will be grilling free hot dogs. The event will be held on Tuesday, August 6, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Stonesprings.

Cruise-In to Butler Township – The Cruise-In to Butler Township has become one of the area’s most popular events, drawing hundreds of people to Commerce Center Drive. It’s open to all makes and models of vehicles. Entry is free to the public and vehicle registration is by donation only. Participants get a free t-shirt and goody bag. The Cruise-In will be held Saturday, August 10, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Township Music Festival in the Park – Inspired by the popularity of the township’s Bicentennial Event in 2017, Butler Township will hold a music festival at Art Van Atta Park on Saturday, October 5, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The event will bring the community together around music and fun for all ages. Food trucks will be available.
